We are seeking an energetic and passionate Net Co-ordinator to deliver Netball Australia’s exciting Net Set Go junior program for children aged 5–10 years.

This role is all about creating a fun, safe and engaging environment where young players can learn skills, build confidence, make friends and fall in love with netball.

✨ ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Net Co-ordinator, you will:

🎯 Deliver engaging weekly Net Set Go sessions
🎵 Incorporate music, movement, dance and fun skill activities
🏃 Run modified games and matches suitable for young children
🤝 Support and mentor junior coaches and volunteers
💬 Attend regular Co-ordinator meetings and communicate operational updates
📋 Work closely with the Competitions Co-ordinator and Operations Manager

✅ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🏐 Program Delivery

• Implement the Net Set Go program in line with Netball Australia guidelines
• Ensure sessions are enjoyable, inclusive and development-focused
• Create a positive first experience in netball for all participants

👩‍🏫 Coaching & Support

• Recruit, support and monitor coaches assisting in the 4–7 years program
• Encourage teamwork, participation and confidence-building

📢 Communication & Operations

• Attend regular Co-ordinator meetings
• Raise operational matters through the Competitions Co-ordinator to the RNA Board
• Maintain effective communication with families, coaches and club officials

• Attend regular Co-ordinator meetings organised by the Operations Manager

We are seeking a confident and organised Assistant Umpire Convenor to support the effective management and development of umpires and officiating personnel across the association.

This role plays a vital part in maintaining a positive, professional and supportive umpiring environment while helping ensure competitions run smoothly and fairly.

✨ ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Assistant Umpire Convenor, you will:

🎯 Support the Umpiring Coordinator in managing umpiring operations
📋 Assist with the development and support of umpires
🤝 Communicate effectively with officials, clubs and association members
📢 Help maintain high standards of professionalism and sportsmanship
🏐 Step into the Umpiring Coordinator role when required

✅ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🏐 Umpire Support & Operations

• Perform duties as determined in consultation with the Umpiring Coordinator
• Assist in the professional management and support of umpires and officiating personnel
• Help ensure smooth operation of umpiring across competitions and events

👥 Leadership & Communication

• Maintain a high standard of oral communication and public speaking
• Demonstrate strong written communication and interpersonal skills
• Foster positive relationships with umpires, clubs, players and association members

📚 Knowledge & Development

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the umpiring needs of the association
• Provide support and guidance to developing umpires
• Encourage professionalism, confidence and continuous improvement

⚙ Acting Responsibilities

• In the absence or incapacity of the Umpiring Coordinator, carry out the duties of the role in accordance with association rules

✔ Minimum Junior A Umpire Badge
✔ Strong leadership and organisational skills
✔ Excellent communication and people management abilities
